Brows

  • 1 hour after the procedure, wash your brows with cleanser provided & pat dry with a paper towel.

  •  Make sure they are completely dry, then apply a very thin layer of the Aquaphor provided.  You can wipe the Aquaphor a few times to make sure it's very thin.
  • Repeat the entire process 3x a day, for 10 days (cleanse, dry, Aquaphor). Do not use any other cleansers or ointments, lotions, etc. unless discussed w/ Kristin.
  • Keep your brows dry except for when you are washing them (no submerging in water, standing face-first in the shower, etc.) Water to rinse of the soap when you are washing them is ok!
  • Keep everything else off of your brows for the first 10 days.
  • Do not do any activities that cause sweating for 10 days, i.e. no working out!!. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. SWEAT HAS SALT, SALT BREAKS UP THE INK. YOU WILL HAVE POOR RESULTS.
  • If you need more cleanser, you can purchase Dial Gold, fragrance-free baby shampoo, or a gentle facial cleanser (Cetaphil, CeraVe, etc.).
  • Your brows will look darker & possibly red-ish the first 10 days, they are healing. This is NOT THE FINAL RESULT.
  • Don't judge your brows the first 10 days. Also remember, your 2nd session is your perfecting session.  We can make adjustments and darken if needed. They are only half done after the first session!
  • ALWAYS avoid potent skincare products on your eyebrows, this includes anything extremely exfoliating, acids, chemical peels, retinols, skin bleachers, etc.
  • AFTER THE FIRST 10 DAYS: STOP washing and applying ointment.  Apply a day cream with SPF over your brows to help prevent fading.

Lash liner

  • Eyes might be swollen.  You can apply an ice pack wrapped in a clean cloth or paper towel.  Sleeping with your head elevated the first night, can help reduce swelling the next day.
  • Avoid touching, rubbing, etc. your eyes the first few days.
  • Keep everything, including water, away from your eyes for 7 days.
  • No pools, saunas, sun or excessive sweating for 7 days.
  • On day 3, if your skin feels dry, apply a VERY THIN layer of Aquaphor.
  • Avoid makeup on the eye areas for 7 days.

Lip blush

  • Day of procedure, wipe lips well with a wet paper towel every 30 minutes, then, apply a liberal amount of Aquaphor (as much as you want). Repeat these steps, the remainder of the day.
  • The next morning, wipe lips with a wet paper towel 1 more time, and then apply a liberal amount of Aquahpor.
  • For the next 10 days, apply Aquaphor several times throughout the day, to keep lips moist.  Do not let them dry out. You do not need to wipe them any longer.
  • For the first 48 hours:
    • Use a straw to drink and a fork or fingers to place food into your mouth. Do not bite directly into food.
    • No kissing
  • DO NOT PICK, PEEL, OR SCRATCH THE TREATED AREA. BY DOING SO, YOU RISK UNEVEN HEALING, INFECTION AND SCARING.
  • Nothing besides Aquaphor on your lips for the first 10 days.
  • You can continue using Aquaphor after the first 10 days if you'd like.  Your lips will still be healing and might seem dry.  They are still healing for approximately 4 weeks.
  • Day 28 you will see your true final color.  At your touch-up, any uneven color can be added and overall color can be adjusted and more layers can be added to darken.

SMP

  • Immediate Aftercare (Days 1–4):
    • Avoid washing your scalp. Keep the area completely dry—no water, sweat, hot showers or steam. This allows the pigment to settle.
    • No touching, rubbing, or scratching the treated area. When it gets itchy lightly tap with the back of your hand to avoid contaminating the area.
    • Avoid sweating as much as possible. No gym, no sauna and no sun exposure.
    • Sleep on a clean pillowcase.
  • Day 5–10:
    • You may lightly rinse your scalp with lukewarm water in the shower. No scrubbing. Pat dry gently with a clean towel.
    • No shampoo, soaps, or harsh products, just warm water. Not hot!
    • Apply a very thin layer (dime size) of fragrance free moisturize provided by your technician.
    • Continue to avoid excessive sweating and sun exposure. Salt binds to the pigment and can cause pigment loss as it’s not yet fully healed.
  • Day 10–14:
    • You may begin to wash your scalp with a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser (e.g., Cetaphil or baby shampoo).
    • Still no shaving or clipping the scalp during this phase as the skin is still healing.
    • Avoid exfoliating products, alcohol-based toners, or anything that might irritate the skin.
    • You can now wear a loss fitting clean hat to protect from the sun.
  • After 14 Days:
    • You can now resume gentle washing practices, including gentle shaving with sanitized clippers (no razor blades for 30 days).
    • Avoid long-term sun exposure, tanning beds, or chlorinated pools for at least 30 days.
  • What to Avoid for the First 30 Days:
    • Direct sun exposure
    • Swimming (chlorine, salt water, hot tubs)
    • Saunas, steam rooms, intense exercise
    • Hair coloring, chemical treatments, harsh shampoos
    • Scratching, picking, or exfoliating the treated area
  • Healing Timeline (What to Expect):
    • Day 1–3: Redness, tightness, and dark appearance.
    • Day 4–7: Flaking may occur. Do not pick or scratch!
    • Day 8–14: Color may appear faded this is normal due to the dry skin masking the
    • Week 3–6: Pigment will gradually settle and normalize and get darker. With full results at 6 weeks.
  • Healing is personal. Trust the process. If you have any questions or concerns, always reach out to your artist for guidance.

  • No Alcohol at least 24 hours prior to the procedure.

Brows

  • Do not get any facial treatments or Botox 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
  • New Clients: Come with your eyebrows applied the way you normally wear them. If you don’t normally pencil them in, don’t worry about it.
  • If you can, let your eyebrows grow until your appointment.
  • No waxing any sooner than 3 days prior.
  • No tinting 4 weeks prior (I need to see your natural brow color).

Lash Liner

  • Stop using lash growth serums 1-2 weeks prior.
  • Remove eyelash extensions at least 3 days prior to your appointment.
  • Wait at least 2 weeks before/after your appointment before getting a lash lift and or tint.
  • Try to remove all eye makeup prior to your appointment.
  • Do not wear contact lenses to your appointment.

Lip blush

  • If you have a history of cold sores (even if you have only ever had one) you MUST pre-medicate with an anti-viral to prevent an outbreak.  The procedure can cause an outbreak which will ruin the results.  You can get this prescription from your doctor. It is recommended to start the prescription 2 days prior to your procedure and continue for 7 days after your procedure (10 days total).
  • Start moisturizing your lips 1-2 weeks prior (Aquaphor works great)!  Purchase Aquaphor Healing Ointment, this is what you'll be using to keep your lips hydrated for 30 days after the procedure.
  • Make sure to drink plenty of water. Dry lips do not accept pigment as well.
  • Use a gentle lip scrub a few days prior to help exfoliate your lips.
  • Lip filler should be done 4 weeks prior or 4 weeks after your appointment.
  • Bring in a color or a picture of a color you like.  Remember, lip blush is not lipstick.  It heals like a lip stain, meaning somewhat sheer. It will not be solid and dramatic like lipstick.

SMP

  • 1-2 wks prior, discontinue topical hair fibers (may clog pores).
  • 3-5 days prior, make sure you are conditioning your scalp when washing your hair (dry or flaky skin will make it hard for pigment to settle evenly). You can also moisturize your scalp with a thin layer of non-greasy, fragrance free lotion, if you are prone to dry scalp.
  • Day of procedure, cleanse your hair and scalp thouroughly, but DO NOT USE CONDITIONER or any other hair products.
  • Bring earbuds, headphones, etc. to listen to music and or audio books during your procedure.
